How often do we think about how awful things in the world are, and then go back to watching our televisions on our comfy couch?
We are so blessed in this country. More than we realize. I read somewhere that we spend enough money on ice cream alone in a year that the rest of the world could have had clean water to drink.
I want to help. I want to do my part. I want to live my life for God and help those in need.
I have learned a lot about God's command "to look after orphans and widows in their distress: James 1:27. I feel that calling in my life. I feel like I know my purpose. I am so excited.
